Beverley Williams - YMWes Centre Co-ordinator
Beverley Williams taught music in local schools and at Further Education level, before taking early retirement in 2015.
Having taught music theory at the Centre for Wessex Young Musicians for 22 years, she reluctantly (!) gave up the theory marking and transferred to the role of Centre Co-Ordinator in 2009.
As a student, Beverley’s first instrumental study was percussion and the Wessex Youth Orchestra was the first orchestra she played in.
She has many happy memories of this time and one not so happy, when someone dropped a cymbal on her toe which she says, scarred her for life!
She likes chocolate, coffee, fundraising & having fun but hates spiders - so no surprises please! She can usually be found lurking near the Centre tuck shop!
