How to join
Download, print and complete your enrolment form to present upon arrival at YMWes.
Your young musician will be welcomed and may enrol at any point in the season. We offer a two week free trial-period to all prospective new members, prior to enrolling. If joining beyond a half term, fees will be adjusted to reflect this.
Become a member of YMWes from as little as £4 per class. See below for details on how to qualify for the reduced membership fee.
YMWes Membership Fees
2022-23 Season
Single provision Membership (non-instrumental):
(Covering membership of either music theory classes or choir)
- £60* per term (10 weeks) *reduced to £50 if payment (or confirmation of bursary application) made within 14 days of first attendance.
Standard Membership:
(Covering Youth Orchestra membership or up to 2 of the following: Strings, Wind Bands, Music Theory, Recorders, Choir)
- £100* per term (10 weeks) * reduced to £80 if payment (or confirmation of bursary application) made within 14 days of first attendance
- OR
- £280* per year (30 weeks) * reduced to £220 if payment (or confirmation of bursary application) made within 14 days of first attendance - Available to members joining at the start of the season only
Standard-Plus Membership:
A 3rd YMWes provision can be added to your membership for an additional £40 per term.
