A former member of the Centre for Wessex Young Musicians and leader of the Wessex Youth Orchestra from 1999-2001, Jennifer went on to study violin with Ezster Boda Katona, and Gina McCormack at Trinity College of Music, London, where she won many prizes and awards including the Mehroo and Byram Jeejeebhoy prize.
Winner of the E M Pearce Prize for instrumental music, and chosen as the 2003 Young Duo artist, Jennifer has performed numerous concertos with orchestras around the country.
She gave her debut London quartet recital at the Barbican Centre in 2003, and has also appeared as a soloist at Regent Hall, St-Martin-in-the-fields, the Royal Courts of Justice, amongst others.
As an Orchestral player, she has worked as Principal 2nd Violin with the RTE Concert Orchestra, and plays as a regular extra with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Now mother of three young children, Jennifer continues to work locally as a freelance musician.
Aside from her musical life, Jenny enjoys escaping to the countryside in her camper van with her family and huge hairy dog, and loves yoga, food and red wine!
