Leading something of a double life, the YMWes and WYSO Director - Susanna Riddell, is also a cellist, dividing her time between orchestral conducting and her work at Youth Music Wessex, and performing and recording as a cellist - both nationally and internationally, with the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
Like so many performing musicians, Susanna has taught cello throughout her playing career, maintaining a 100% pupils' exam success rate, and will be extending her teaching schedule to include cello lessons through YMWes, from May 2023.
